Behaviour changes in situations
that ask for something real.

Organisations come to us when alignment takes too long, leaders carry more than their role asks of them, or talent doesn't take the step towards responsibility. When good intentions get stuck on patterns that keep repeating.

New knowledge does not automatically lead to new behaviour. Behaviour changes in situations that really ask something of people – outside the office environment, with guidance that connects what people experience to what is going on in their organisation.

Four programs,
one methodology

The same learning logic underpins every program. What differs is the target group and the
question at the heart of it.

“Lingering is the right word.
It lingers, bubbles up, moves around in my head and body. On Monday morning colleagues asked each other: "Did it stick with you too?"

Where learning happens

Château

Varoy

Distance from the daily context is not a side issue, it is what makes learning possible. Outside the office environment, the way people look changes. Conversations become more direct. Patterns become visible. Choices become less obvious, but clearer.

Our own estate of 23 hectares in the Molignée valley, Namur. Rock faces, caves, forests and rivers form the learning environment. 12 bedrooms, all facilities for multi-day programs. Green Key certified.

Proven value

Outward Bound works worldwide with more than 150,000 participants a year in 34 countries. Research across the international network shows consistent results in teamwork, resilience, self-confidence and leadership behaviour.

What sets us apart

Château Varoy is not a rented conference centre. It is an estate of our own, designed as a learning environment — with rock faces, caves and rivers across 23 hectares. The surroundings actively take part. That cannot be replaced.

We are a member of Outward Bound International, a network of 37 schools in 34 countries. Methodology, research and quality standards are shared and tested across borders.

Two independent audits every year: BFNO (Approved Safety Practices) and Outward Bound International. Safety is a choice of substance, not a compliance exercise.

Alongside the corporate sector, we also work with schools, not-for-profit organisations and boards. Adventure therapy and open courses are part of what we offer. The same methodology, a different context.

A conversation
about your context

Every program starts from what is really going on in your organisation. An exploratory conversation of 30 minutes makes clear whether and how we can add value.
